That franchise chose to move to Florida from a new ownership group," said Brandon Bates, the general manager of the Oklahoma Wildcatters. Making way for a new team in Oklahoma, professional LIV Golf champion Taylor Gooch decided to invest in sport. “It really comes down to Taylor wanting to invest in Oklahoma," Lyon said. The man chosen to lead the team to victory is the $7 million bull rider, J.B. Mauney. "I wasn’t ready to give it up, but everything happens for a reason," Mauney said. “They needed a team in Oklahoma. They wanted a team in Oklahoma," said Preston Lyon, the managing director of FJS Ventures.
